Here’s something you didn’t know you knew:  Today is Administrative Professionals Day and the state bird of New York is the Eastern Bluebird.


Senior Student council members need to see Mr. Kneisley today about senior officers and pick-up ballots; ballots are due tomorrow by 2:45 p.m..

Reminder to Quest students that there is a meeting today immediately after school in room 406, Mr. Ryan’s room.

Athletic Announcements:

· The Varsity Softball team defeated Lloyd Memorial 14-0.

· The varsity baseball team improved their record to 12 and 1 last night defeating Grant County 13 to 0. Nick A. got his third win on the mound for the Bearcats and Mason H. got the three inning save with an impressive pitching performance.

o   The Varsity Baseball teams All “A” State Elite 8 game will be on Saturday in Owensboro.  Tickets will be on sale between 11:00-1:00 on Thursday in the Gym Lobby.  $10 a ticket for Saturday’s games. 

· Congratulations to the girls tennis team with their 4 to 1 victory over the Cooper Jaguars. The boys tennis team fell 3 to 2 in a nailbiter to Cooper.

· Victorious for the Lady Bearcats was Abby M., Tori I., Blythe B., Veronika B., Zadie D., Beatrice H., Sarah A., and Josie K.. Victorious for the Bearcats on the boys side were Parker C. ,Jacob M., and Will K..

o   The Tennis teams host Conner today, weather permitting.

The varsity baseball team defeated Kentucky Country Day 14-2 to advance to the All A State Elite 8.

Travis S. got the win on the mound going 5 strong innings striking out 10 batters. Jimmy S. came in to close the door. 

o   The Baseball team plays in the All “A” State Elite 8 tournament on Saturday at 3:00 in Owensboro.

o   Tonight the Varsity Baseball team travels to Grant County.

Varsity Softball team defeated St. Henry 15-0 in 4 innings last night.

o   The Softball teams hosts Lloyd Memorial tonight at the sports complex. 

The Boys and girls tennis teams both fell to Simon Kenton. Congratulations to seniors Abby M. and Ben E. for a winning at first singles.

The Tennis teams host Cooper tonight at the complex.

o   The JV & Varsity Softball teams travel to St. Henry tonight.
