Students need to have a book picked out and approved for the book project by October 26th. Students will not be permitted to change his or her book after this date, as one of the goals of the book project is to learn time management and to work on a task over a long period of time. The book project is not due until December 10th. On Thursday and Friday students will  continue to read our class novel, Shiloh,  while also working on main idea and inferences.

Reading homework policy: Students will be given a homework assignment every Monday, and it is due on Friday. If a student finishes early he or she may turn it in at any time. Late assignments will be accepted, however students will lose a point each week the assignment is late. The title of this week’s homework assignment is This History of a Toy.
