Congratulations to WVHS junior Madelyn Ryan for her successful audition on the French Horn for the All-State Concert Band!
We would also like to Congratulate WVHS freshman Anna Napier, who received an honorable mention from KMEA for her All-State French Horn audition.
WV Intermediate students celebrated big today after school at their “Not a Dance.” While there was lots of dancing and singing to the tunes of DJ, Rob Hartman, there was also ornament making, gaga ball, four square and knock-out! Students chowed down on all the free food they could eat! It was a fabulous last hurrah; bringing together students from two different campus for some fun!!! We can’t wait to be in our brand new building celebrating together in January!
Walton-Verona Intermediate School will be ready for students in January 2025!
There will be an open house for all parents and community members in late-January. Exact date and time will be shared in the coming days.
Members of the WVMS Y-Club participated in the Kentucky YMCA’s Kentucky Youth Assembly earlier this week. Members participated in the state legislative process by speaking on their proposed bill to the Youth Assembly and voting on bills proposed by other Delegates.
Congratulations to these Bearcats who earned the title of WV Intermediate School December Student of the Month for their team! Keep working hard, Bearcats!
WVHS Spanish 2 students had the opportunity to visit Jungle Jim’s today to learn about and explore all that an international market has to offer! Thanks to Ms. Fisk and Mrs. Steele for organizing the trip.
