Zonar MyView School Bus App for Families
Communication about where a school bus is puts parents and school districts at ease. Zonar MyView provides visibility into bus locations, changes and estimated times of arrival so those who need to know can stay in the loop. The MyView back-end portal serves as a district dashboard used to communicate bus changes, delays or breakdowns. Parents use the MyView mobile app to see where their child’s bus is located, create zones and customize alerts.
Following the steps in the
WV MyView Parent flyer (PDF) and our
Zonar MyView App Video Tutorial (Youtube), your bus/buses should appear on the map. Alerts may take a few hours to appear but should appear by the next school day. If you need further assistance, please contact the Walton-Verona Transportation Department at (859) 485-4181 or email
[email protected].
The Zonar MyView apps can be found in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Tips for Transportation:
Review school bus safety with your children regularly.
Wait for the bus a safe distance from the roadway.
Students should not approach the bus before the driver signals them to do so.
Parents are encouraged to accompany their child to and from the bus stop when possible.
Plan with your child what to do in the event of a no one home situation.
Be at the bus stop 5 minutes prior to bus arrival.
Parents or a designee of kindergarten students must be present at the bus stop to receive their children.
Kentucky state law forbids food and drink from being consumed by riders while on the school bus. Students may not carry on any item that they cannot hold in their lap including band instruments and school projects. Cell phones, games, and other electronic devices may only be used with permission from the driver.
It is our goal to provide every child we transport with the safest and most reliable school transportation possible. School bus safety is and should be a top priority for everyone including students, parents and schools to make each ride safe and enjoyable for everyone.
